DocXS reusable Ag-AgCl fixed wire electrodes are constructed using our high quality 1mm thick Ag-AgCl sensors mounted in a variety of Blue epoxy ring housing styles. They are then firmly encapsulated with a durable coating of epoxy providing the user with a long lasting, waterproof electrode in a strong and versatile housing. With proper care they may be re-used almost indefinitely with no loss of performance or accuracy. All of our lead wires are designed with flexibility and resiliency in mind. Our standard lead wires are PVC insulated multi-strand copper with internal Tinsel for additional strength and durability. The final product is a durable, compact, waterproof assembly that may be easily cold sterilized and employed in a wide range of applications. | |||

DocXS
reusable Thin-Line Biopotential skin electrodes are designed for applications
requiring very thin, light weight electrodes that exhibit all the superior
qualities of our B-300 series Biopotential Skin Electrodes. They are constructed
using 1mm thick DocXS solid Ag-AgCl electrodes, but do not employ housings.
Instead, the disks are sealed with a coating of hard epoxy on the back
only, leaving just the rim and underside exposed for contact with the
subject. Our high quality, multi-strand copper wire is PVC insulated and
permanently attached to the electrode. It is then sealed with hard epoxy
rendering the entire assembly waterproof and extremely durable. The overall
electrode element thickness is approximately 3mm giving it a great deal
of versatility. The electrode may be applied to the skin with or without
an electroconductive gel. However, we do recommend the use of our adhesive
gels, adhesive washers, or tape wraps to insure maximum signal strength
and quality. Our B-200 series Thin line implantable style electrode is designed for subcutaneous implantation for animal research as well as surface biopotential recordings and electrophysiology. They are water proof, durable and utilize a silicone insulated multistrand copper lead wire with a silicone strain relief. |

DocXS Ag-AgCl insulated and mounted Electrodes, Probes and Sensors are reusable and specifically designed for use as a product component or with custom apparatus in electrophysiology. All of our electrodes are produced using only DocXS Ag-AgCl, resulting in an electrode with exceptionally stable and consistently reproducible results. They are housed in either epoxy, glass, polycarbonate or silicone tubes and exhibit all of the superior qualities that our other electrodes provide, i.e. low offset voltage, non-polarizing, no rechloriding, resurfacable, and cold sterilizable. With proper care they are reusable almost indefinitely. DocXS electrodes of this type and style employ only 99.999% pure silver lead wires imbedded in the center of the disk, pellet or sensor to allow for the connection of your choice. | |||
