The Occluder Cuff

The Occluder cuff dimensions when deflated are most often the determining factor in the selection of the proper device. The cuff width and thickness will vary, depending on models and sizes. The HD series Cuff is slightly thicker than the standard models.

The Actuating Tube Length

Our stock length is 90 cm. Longer tubes may be substituted, however we do not recommend tubes exceeding 2 meters in length.

The Actuating Tube Diameter

We offer are a range of Actuating Tube sizes for customizing the occluders to your applications.
Standard sizes:

  • .025” x .047” Low pressure applications/VO-1.5N&/F small lumen
  • .030” x .065” Low pressure applications, Lumens 1.5N&Fmm to 6mm
  • .040” x .085” Higher pressure, larger Lumen applications
  • .062” x .125” Higher pressure, larger Lumen, Heavy Duty Diaphragms - longer implant times
  • .031” x .157” Longest implant times, larger Lumen, Heavy Duty Diaphragms and highest working pressures

Note: the actuating tube may also be positioned to protrude from the side of the occluder diaphragm (instead of the back) if this alteration is better suited to your application requirements.
